The game is played on a Badminton Court using a low net and a spongy ball; the amount of energy needed is comparable to that needed for social tennis in the local courts except that it isn’t so far to travel to retrieve missed balls….and play is not dependant upon the weather!

We play doubles and singles depending on the number of members that turn up, as there is only one court; there is not a need for a weekly commitment and participants need not attend for the whole period.

Racquets and balls are provided, and players pay a modest charge towards the cost of the hall rental.
