Membership via Beacon
Fairford and District U3A requires members to provide their personal information so that you can be kept informed about events and activities that are offered as part of your membership. In collecting your information Fairford and District U3A will:
• Store it securely.
• Use it to communicate with you as a U3A member.
• Share your information with group leaders for those groups that you are a member of.
• Send you general information about the Third Age Trust.

For members to view the Members Area of this website, the member must register with the website.
To accurately identify a U3A member, the following piece of information are used the verify that the person applying is a member of Fairford and District U3A:
First Name
Last Name
First line of address
Postcode
In addition, the following items of information are stored:
The email address used for Registration
The Username and password generated by the applying member.

This data is transmitted securely to WordPress using a secure link as indicated by the padlock shown in the address bar of your browser.

This information is stored securely on the servers of the website host company IONOS.
